Hi there.
3DS max 2018, Vray Next GPU update 1.1
I have a simple test scene, kind of a cave with a sphere, lit with vray sun+sky + a rectangular area light (orange color). I added a vray light select render element picking only the area light, in direct illumination mode.
Here comes the problem: If I render with sun+sky+area light the light select element show also the contribution of the sky light. If instead I render with the sky turned off, the light select element show correctly only the contribution of the area light.
Check the attached pictures: 01+02 shows the result with sun+sky+area light; 03+04 shows the result with only sun+area light.
I would expect the same result for the light select element in both the situation. I mean: I need to have only the contribution of the area light to correct it in post production even if I render with the sky active.
Can anybody help me? Any Suggestions? Could it be a bug?
Thanks.
Cheers
