  • GPU distributed rendering problem

    Hi.
    I have problem with loading times when im using distributed rendering. Every frame loads 30 seconds before render starts. I think all assets (textures, models) should be loaded at first frame, not every frame. Is it normal or im doing something wrong? Scene is quite simple - just hipoly ground with 8k textures and some scans from quixel scattered by hand on it (instances)

    specs:
    master: 2 x geforce 1080ti
    slave: 4 x geforce rtx 2080 ti

    For now this is the expected behaviour. Asset caching between animation frames is planned for the future.
    If it was that easy, it would have already been done

      This is how things are working for at this point. Our developers have plans to improve this in the future.

        ok, thanks for an information. I moved to standalone license and im rendering locally - loading times are much faster.
