  • Region Renders are brighter than the full image render

As per the title - I want to render just a region and it appears lighter / brighter than what has been rendered already outside of that region.

    Any ideas ?

Could you attach a simplified scene, where the issue is present? Screencaps would be helpful as well.

Any chance you're rendering with camera auto exposure turned on? That'll do it.

jknott, that could be it - there are some scenes where I use auto exposure, can't remember right now, so I'll take a look as soon as I can and get back to you. Thanks for the tip!

Yep this happened to me once, it was auto exposure that fixed it me for me.
