I recently built a new system with a RTX 4090, and was so excited with the performance I purchased one to replace 2x 3080's in my other machine. Once I installed it, I'm finding the RTX and CUDA numbers pretty terrible compared to the new machine.
How much does the actual machine architecture affect the v-ray benchmark results in GPU? I'm really scratching my head. The 2x 3080's were much faster.
