  • Vray RT Render Elements

    I have a huge issue, I need to render out Render elements on RT GPU 3.20.02. I especially need Vraywirecolor for separating elements for post. For some reason it just renders black, and so does a lot of other elements like VrayMtlID, VrayobjID, etc. Zdepth & Alpha work. Need to find fix as soon as possible.


    This is on 3dsmax 2016, Vray 3.20.02 x64

    V-Ray RT only supports some render elements, but not all. Wire color is one of the unsupported elements and for the moment it is not possible to implement it quickly. However, it is possible to make the object IDs work so that at least you can get multimattes out. Is that ok?

      How do I do that? I tried VrayobjID, and it rendered all black.

        If you have ObjectID's already set to your scene objects, then you can add several Multimatte render elements and get the masks.

            Hello, I'm up to get Vraywirecolor compatible with GPU. Have you tried to setup multimattes for 100 object? Unless there is a script for that, it's impossible to go this way.
