In theory and in most cases I agree with the move away from this approach. Simpler is better and the less we as artists have to dive into the technical side the better. However I still find a few cases where I’d like to be able to tweak certain materials or lights on a local level. Would be great if it was an advanced option we could enable as it is with Vray CPU
