100 Free Xfrog Plants - Opacity leaves instead of Geometry?

Hi all

I’ve been away and only now getting a chance to download this. I’ve downloaded the fisrt 2 files and I see the leaves on both is opacity mapped. What’s up with this? I thought it was suppose to be geometry based since geometry renders faster if you have loads and loads of trees. Also what is the *.xfr file for? And can I dowload these things 100 at ones or do you have to go 1 by 1?

All Xfrog plants are opacity mapped leaves, if you want geometry leaves you need to open the .xfr file in Xfrog 3.5 (there modeling software) and change/model them yourself. This is how it’s always been with Xfrog im afraid.
