I have been happily using Wave2d - great 
Unfortunately it doesn’t work with MAX9… I have tried contacting the author without joy… Anyone know of a similar plugin that works with MAX9 or know how to update it this one?: http://www.max3dstuff.com/max4/matWave2d/help.html
