I’m looking into building a new machine based on a 1155 socket motherboard which features x8/x8/x4 PCi express slots.
Will the 3rd vid card run at a rate which would reduce the speed of RT GPU?
try to find a mother board with 16x 16x 8x at least to use 3 cards.
You can also run RT GPU in distributed rendering so all you need is a really cheap 2nd computer
It may be MUCH cheaper than your prefered option of having them in one machine [which you are going to need a massive single power supply for as well..$$$$]
