Hello, everyone! First of all, I want to thank everyone who have given the 3D streaming in Chaos Cloud a try. The feature is still in a Beta period and you using it and giving us feedback are critical to making it better.
And I wanted to share just that. Two examples where we’ve identified problems initially spotted thanks to you using the 3D streaming.
First, faster loading times for Enscape scenes. We’ve noticed that many Enscape scenes submitted by you guys are loading significantly slower than what we’ve expected. We were able to figure the problem out and now loading times are significantly shorter. Especially for scenes with many viewpoints.
Second, we fixed a bug which prevented some scenes from loading at all. The bug was related to Unicode characters used in some asset file names. We’re constantly monitoring the service for failures behind the scenes. If something happens we act on fixing it. This is one such example.
