Hi, I can’t set V-Ray 7 as the default rendering engine in MAX 2027.
I’ve never had this problem with previous versions of V-RAY.

edit : This doesn’t work with 3DS MAX 2026 either.

It’s a known issue (VMAX-15736); a fix will be out in the nighlties soon.

Strange I don’t have it but I’m using a startup template with Vray set as rendering engine, maybe you can use that in the meantime as a workaround.

For context: the issue is with the “Set as defaults” button in the Common > Renderer tab.
