I noticed some days ago some strange behavior with Corona 7 Hotfix1
In some files when i put a list o images to render in 3ds Max Batch Render eventually one of this renderings get stuck in the beginning of the rendering.
More strange is that when I do a click in the VFB it starts to render normally.
But if you don’t click the rendering stay stuck for hours (made me lose hours of night rendering).
Me and my partner perceive this behavior only in the 3ds Max 2022 (but we didnt tested for real in other versions), it looks like is as 2022 problem.
We use the 3ds Max 2022.3 Update.
I have just posted a ticket for a very similar problem I’m having using Max 2022 and Corona 7.
My error is not with batch rendering, just standard animation. Every few frames it gets stuck on “cleaning up” the scene, but clicking on the VFB UI seems to reactivate and it starts rendering again. This works for a while, but after 10-15 frames max crashes out.
Hi and thanks for reporting this, we are aware of the issue but haven’t quite replicated it successfully yet. Can you please clarify if you are using any remote desktop apps?
Something similar occurs with Pulze Render manager.
No issues with 3ds max 2020, but as soon as moved to 2022.3. the machine which submit the renders to is stuck on parsing.
The issue occurred not only with Pulze Render manager, but when batch render with Pulze scene manager.
I have had the same problem with stuck of the 3ds Max Batch Render on parsing scene (with Corona Renderer 7 Hotfix 1 and 3ds max 2022.3).
I have downloaded Corona Renderer 8 Release candidate 1 and I have found a walkaround via disabling ‘Rendered Frame Window’ in Render Setup/Common/Render Output section. The batch rendering seemed to be stuck at the moment of generating/parsing new frame buffer window.
I hope that this will help you till a proper adjusment will be done.
I have the same problem : stuck rendering before parsing the scene, after I click VFB render continues.
this issue was observed at different scenes by using pulze scene manager and using standard render
