Do you know if it is possible to create one or more track points using 3dsmax for an animation and export these points to aftereffects ? Im guessing I will need a camera track point also to give these other track points any meaning…

yes there is a way. i using max2ae. great plugin. you could use an max2ae help layer and link them to the track point u want and export it to a 3d layer in ae. the camera u you also transfer to ae and a lot more…
