3dsMax to Sketchup by “one click”~then use enscape to make renderings~

We often racked our brains to find a better SketchUp model,But in fact, we know that basically good Sketchup models are converted from 3DSmax.

In general, I will first reduce the models’ surface in 3dsmax,and then export the model as .dae or .fbx file ,finally use Simlab as a bridge to make it into a .skp file。

But,in China ,my friend has developed a new plugin for 3dsmax which can easily convert .max file into .skp file today~~

Below is my first taste with the plugin he gave to me :

Open the .max file by 3dsmax,choose wat u want to convent, then export “.skp”

You can choose which version of sketchup you want, then just click ,you can get it ~

No worry about Vray mat,It’s totally automatic!

It looks really good.

That plugin sounds really useful, Is there a place where I can get it?

Great idea, you seem to like depth of field  Thanks for sharing this insight with us.

Soon they will make a international version,I’ll tell you guys

My pleasure

Can we get a preview release to trial? I’d be more than happy to help iron out bugs and with translation (we have English & Chinese speaking people in our office)

If not please let me know when this is fully released, it’s exactly what we need!

the offcial website is :http://mxpai.net/

1.You’d better run as administrator when installing~

2.Make sure that you have Vray for 3dsmax installed

3.Choose the 7 days trail to unlock it

Waow that is a realy useful.

Thank you for sharing the plugin with us.

Well, guys ,the author of the plugin told me they’re improving the internal version of it,it will come soon.

For protecting the rights of it,I’ll delete it from my Google Driver, but anyhow you can visit their offcial website to get the trail there.

any updates on this? looking forward to the final release and to find out pricing!

@rockingbird any update on this? I would buy this plugin today!!

I am also interested in this plugin.

price???

Why use this over something like Transmutr?

Transmutr is similar… however doesn’t convert native Max files.

Theoretically a plugin within Max could make use of all the data available to Max and could successfully preserve more of the original material settings from Max.

For most people transmutr would be just as, if not more useful.

You could access the link of the add-on to export from 3d max to skp, since I can not find it on the indicated page
