Possibly.
Reducing your rendering size or using Render Strips can help as well.

I have another completley unrelated question. Is there any way to only render a pass with reflections and masks and nothing else, so i can composite it onto some windows? thanks!
use the vray frame buffer and set up the buffer channels for the passes you want.
