well, it gave a very good impression of being able to. you can see in the photos there is one guy controlling each leg.
anyway, to spoil the magic here is how it moved around…

What an excellent sight what was it for ? Damn they know how to make this stuff well in England. Well I suppose they have alot of experience with all the great films made at Pinewood over the years. Looks like a great day out 
but not one you would just happen to be doing acid - now that wouldn’t be good :?
