55 Wacker

Here is one I am working on. The owner has a gutted out space that he needs to rent, so my task is to make it a modern rentable space.

I bet, if I add a little motion blur to the lady in the front, she’ll look much better. Also, maybe a little less on the walking guy.

the art on the wall is not very modern as well as the big table and the bump on the wall is too high in my opinion.

I think it should looks better with a nice false ceiling…

The outside walls are a thick painted concrete. I’ll find some more suitable art (however, retro posters are modern) or something else for the walls. They wanted an open ceiling and everything has sound insulation and painted white, except for the floor above, which is black painted concrete.

The squiffy camera angle really puts me off. I’d straighten it perpendicular to the wall.

I’ll try that. These will end up being 360 panoramics though.[quote=“alexyork, username:alexyork”]

To me, the moblur is more distracting than interesting. Besides, with that amount of blur on this guy an nothing on the other 3, he would have to be moving at warp speed, or the other 3 would have to be statue still at that exposure time.

Yes. I slowed him up a tad and put a slight motion on the front lady.

Second view. I just used assets from around the web (all free) and older projects.

The Space and illumination look very good but the furniture look randomly placed… Like they just moved.

I was going for a studio type space. I might put a building model on the back table, but we’ll see. For now, I have to get it done.

I think it looks super except for the insulation in the ceiling, which looks like asbestos and off scale. The diffuser on the right side is particularly eye catching.

I’m plumb out of time on these. But, I agree, the ceiling needs attention; maybe as a side project some day.

Lighting is superb, are you using HDRI for the interiors?

Thanks! No, just a very sky. My city scene is a vraylight material, which might be adding to it. [quote=“vlado, post:4, topic:45993, username:vlado”]

Update on the first view

I lowered the camera, motion blur on the two girls (probably too much) and added a little more detail. Also, I slowed the roll on the guy, a little bit. Now, I have to render these out at 3000 X 6000 360! I have learned to ask for final output prior to quoting on a project. I was thinking web pano, but I just found out tonight they want it HUGE!!!

I am seeing some blowout on the wall left of the bookshelf (crap!)

Probably an easy fix but the girls Apple screen is blown out too. I would turn her mb down to a minimum if at all. After she is sitting still. Gotta mention that weird diffuser again with its sharp edges.

Can’t understand who you are getting that much light in, portals?

I tapped down the brightness a tad and warmed it up a little, too.

Yes, light portals.[quote=“vlado, post:2, topic:45979, username:vlado”]
