Something is wrong with 7.10.02 GPU refraction. Compare the plexiglass in the above image (GPU) with the CPU one below. It was fine in the previous release. GPU is acting like it’s a single-sided face or something (it’s not). Again, it was fine in the previous release.(7.10.00)
Best you send the scene so we can troubleshoot.
Still broken in 7.20.02. This isn’t like some little issue, guys. Here’s the scene: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/jgg9f4ijdyw09c6mcs844/FLUX\_CAPACITOR\_POPCORN\_SIMPLER\_3b.mb.zip?rlkey=rcffd3oxblb4xxqm8ktl93r4a&dl=0
Thanks for the provided scene. The issue is caused by the glass material’s Bump multiplier, which does not work on the GPU (it is always rendered as 1). We have it logged as (VGPU-6932). Work for a fix has already started, so it will be implemented soon enough.
EDIT: The issue is fixed in the internal nightlies. I’ll talk to the devs to pick the fix for the stable builds.
Awesome, thank you.
