860 brook hollow house

A slow Friday afternoon, so I thought I would post something. Nothing earth-shattering, but I would be interested in your comments. I’ll probably put some ridge caps on the roof, but I’ll wait for client feedback.

Looking pretty good. Just the tiling in the white texture and the big stone is a bit too noticeable and you have that annoying Railclone thing with the uncapped roof tile geom…I thought they’d fixed that?

Yeah, I have to work on the big stone, but the brick isn’t too bad. The roof is a displacement and not RailClone, which I am planning on using.

Very nice as always. I think the 16:9 aspect ratio different than what you typically use?.

Maybe on the view of the back the tree would move to the left to break up the blank wall and let the eye enter the image more easily?

I always use 16:9, but I pulled the camera back a little further on this one. I put that tree on the right third, to try to keep the eye from falling on the blank wall there on the left. I’ll probably put some larger plantings there too.

Some updates

The updated ones look better for sure…I noticed some hot spot / saturated burn outs on areas like the street curb. Much better in the update.

Unusual architechture in places, proportionally speaking…the relationships are strange and…well…all sorts of things…not your fault.
I’m still noticing the repeats on the white brick I’m afraid…sorry
Easily solved though.
Otherwise of course I like the approach. That large stone looks way better.
Some entourage maybe?

Yeah, I can paint some of the brick patterns out. As far as architecture… you know… can’t do anything about it.

This is true.
All good, anyway. I envy (I don’t envy really…on reflection) your workload…

Yeah, I have been blessed. It has been about seven years of more work than I can handle.

It’s Dracula’s home, invisible for reflections on the glasses

I don’t understand

the only reflections on the glass are trees…for example the garage doors should reflect part of the house as well as the windows on the left side of the main door, etc

Yes reflections look a bit weird, are you using particular setup for the glass?

What is happening is the client wanted more reflection, so I pasted some trees into the reflection at a low opacity.
