8 bit, wasn’t that the days of pacman and galaga?

ouch! guess I hit my head on one of those branches

So where’s jet set willy!

percy, can you give us some more info on that…
that looks really cute…

Is it just some IR pass, saved or ??

Best regards,

naw its a post effect done in after effects. might actually look cooler if done the way you describe though.

look nice

btw what are the trees from ? Onyx, they seem really cool, I need to decide for onetree plugin, thx

they’re vue 5 Infinite trees imported into max.

i feel like we’r not living in 21st centry, but in 12th…

hahah cool.
Looks like the intro scene to the next Leisure Suit Larry

The animation tho, the 8bit-ness makes it look like really really bad compression… or maybe it is just really bad compression.. haha

definately like those old leisure suit larry/ kings quest games. speaking of which…just a shameless plug for some friends. if you likes the kings quest series. try replaying some of the classics in vga as opposed to the old ega versions they used to be,

hahah cool.

I actually played some of the earlier ones.. LSL1 and Kings Quest 1 in VGA as well, but they were actually made by Sierra. But these ones seem pretty good as well

percy,
what are the vue trees like geometry wise? heavy?

have a look see yourself. This tree is about 50k, but you can generally specify poly count when exporting from vue
