Here is one in the pipeline. They wanted a straight on elevation, but with all the landscaping I did, I pulled a view from the side. One more from the back pool deck, but that’ll be a few more days.
I like the second view better…I haven’t seen people parking that way in USA. In some countries, you have to park a car like that.
Yes, the second one was my choice. They originally requested an elevation, but I didn’t care for it, so I pulled the second view. Parking, you mean backing into a space? Yeah, some do, but not often. They were boxed proxies. I’ll fix that.
not the most appealing thing to look at, but the renderings are nice. the cars and people look too staged in my opinion…
i prefer the straight on view… lose the people and cars and you could sell that image all day long.
That’s odd as the side view is far more interesting imo 
I agree. They originally picked out the front elevation and they are sticking to it. They are rendering in-house, using V-Ray, and decided that they can’t produce anything really good, so they sought out for someone like us and found me. They are just having me redo what they have already done and I think they have already decided that a front and back elevation is what they want.
Any good seamless and tileable asphalt around? Mine is falling apart on this one.
I think the front view could be ok if you turned the view upward (with vertical straightening) to get more sky and less road. And maybe a different sky or something comped over top.

Me too, but they never acknowledged it, so it fell off the list. When I am done with them I might render it out again.
if you cool down the highlights, and warm up the shadows, I believe it will give it some punch
I did just the opposite, but I’ll play around with things for the finals.
Nah, sometime what we see or like is not what our client want..
pool courtyard image not nearly as strong as main exterior image. i dont think you need to show as much context for the pool image if delivering a set of images that sells the project. feels like im seeing the same thing over again from the front. a ground level view of the pool courtyard would be more intimate, starting with the main exterior you get a sense of the overall project, then invite the viewer in closer… this would help create more narrative
I very much agree on the poolside. The client is picking the views and I have been suggesting against them, but they think that they know what they want. This kind of client does their own in-house 3d work, but they aren’t producing things good enough, yet they dictate everything I do :). They have been asking for white fluffy clouds and fewer shadows since day one and I have been ignoring them. it is inevitable that these will end up looking very much like what they don’t like in their own work.
