As I’ve got a 2D background I still love to create comics. I decided to use VRay to create comic backgrounds. The language is Dutch, by the way. Let’s see if you can guess what the gag is about …
Okay, for those who want to know what the balloons contain …
1ST FRAME:
" Going to school for another whole week" … “To be ragged and nagged”
2ND FRAME:
“Johnny Bathshoe, the sucker of the class”
3RD FRAME:
“TOOOOT!!”
4TH FRAME:
Boy: “Aaaaahhh!”
Genie: “Pleased to meet you! Ali B, at your service! You may make one wish!”
5TH FRAME:
“Then I want to be just like the other kids at school!”
6TH FRAME:
“No problem…!” [POOF!]
7TH FRAME:
“Well, it seems that even that is not allowed for me!” … “A genie in a tooter, who would believe that anyway.”
Thanks Marc! I hoped you wouldn’t notice that he left his bag. I noticed it too, after the gag was finished. The foreground is drawn by a good friend of mine. I did the backgrounds in VRay and contributed to the scenario. I guess the foreground artist forgot to include the bag in the last few frames, but I think it’s ok that way, because he’s so flabbergasted/impressed by his meeting with the genie that he forgets his bag. I guess we can get away with that, don’t you think?
No offense, I was just kinda quoting a line from this American comedy, Zoolander, Will Ferrell’s character is not getting EXACTLY what he asked for because of some other characters misunderstanding so he ends up screaming “I feel like I’m taking crazy pills!!!”. The line is pretty funny relative to the context of the story.
Sorry, I always hate it when ppl quote lines from movies I haven’t seen
