why not adding" Delete Particles" when particles run out of the simulator?
It’s already there ![]()
Liquid particles cannot live outside the container so they will die once they exit it. Same applies to WetMap particles.
Foam and Splashes have an Outside Life option. It’s important to note that the outside life works this way: if a particle is outside the sim and its age is > than outside life, it dies. This is very important because for example you may have an outside life of 4, and a foam particle with age 5 just exits the container, then it will die immediately.
Hope this helps ![]()
i mean the PhoenixForce operator can’t delete the particles that run out of the simulator,i have to add a deflector to delete them.but the FumeFx Follow can.
I see, you mean Particle Flow particles, not the Phoenix liquid particles. Will add this to the TODO list, thanks!
Hey,
In Friday’s nightly there will be the option to delete particles which exit the simulator ![]()
Cheers!
