Ability to use One Triplaner node for all pbr textures like Vray triplaner

I usually use Triplaner map for replacement of UVW modifire.

In V-Ray, it is possible to use a single Triplanar node for all PBR texture maps, which makes it very convenient to control the texture scale globally from one place. This gives much more flexibility and speeds up the workflow significantly.

We would like to request a similar feature in Corona Renderer. Currently, we need to create separate Triplanar nodes for each individual texture map, and whenever the scale needs to be adjusted, it has to be changed manually for every texture. This becomes very time-consuming, especially for complex materials with multiple maps.

Having a unified Triplanar control for all PBR maps would greatly improve workflow efficiency and material management in Corona.

Hi,

This is already possible in Corona. Triplanar as well as some other maps has this feature called additional outputs. By default it is set to 0, i.e. no additional outputs, but if you set it to 1, or 2, or any other number, there will be additional outputs created in the map which you can then pass down the shader tree or plug directly to material. It does the same job as Vray’s counterpart feature, it’s just its UI is a bit different.

Exactly what Romullus said. To see an example setup, you can load any material from Cosmos with the triplanar option enabled.
