Activating my Vray for Rhino 4.0 license

I contacted the support center but it seems the forum is quick to reply
I have uninstalled my Vray license for Rhino 4.0 along with Rhino 4.0 and reinstalled in my new machine
Rhino’s installation was flawless but Vray for Rhino tells me that it has expired and yet I have a serial number provided by ASGvis
I sort of need a quick resolution to that problem since I have work to submit shortly
Any help would be appreciated

Its very important that during the uninstall process that your computer be connected to the internet so that it can communicate to our license server. With out that it won’t release the license and you’ll get the error that you’re seeing.

The quick fix (because noone will be in till at earliest wendsday) is to reinstall on your old machine, and uninstall while making sure that you’re connected. After that you should be able to activate on the new machine. Make sure that your firewall or router isn’t blocking access or anything.

But it is always connected to the Internet
when I uninstalled.For Rhino I had no problems uninstalling and installing in the new machine.
I don t understand what I ve done wrong.
