I’ve always been on an AD Maintenance Plan for my one copy of 3DS Max (since 1999)… I currently pay around £600 a year (though God knows why really because a) I hardly always update as soon as a new release comes out and b) I sometimes even skip a release)… But, Maintenance Plan is for me… Today …

Okay, this move to subscriptions only by AutoDesk is causing quite a stir on other forums (no surprises !) - and over the weekend whilst reading on LinkedIn, during such a discussion I learned about a piece of software I’d never heard of before, BricsCAD, a much cheaper alternative to that other mon…
