Hi,
I am wondering if there is a way how to add my main localhost computer to computing through DR on different computer.
What I mean, I start render on my main computer through DR with localhost untick, so render work only on second computer. Then I have done some other job and has a free main computer, how I can add it to render as DR? I tried to start DR spawner but it shut down right after start. Dont know why, maybe because I have one instance of max started for computing. So am I doing something wrong or how I can make this to work?

I do it that way all the time with no issues where I will turn off use local host but after fire up a spawner and add it to the rendering. If its shutting down right away I would think it may be that you already have it running in the background or there may be something wrong with the install or it might be blocked by the firewall or something like that.
I cant make this to work. Rendering on second computer through DR works without any problem, but DR on main computer still crashing. Is there something I can do please?
It might be best to email support directly as there seems to be a bigger underlying problem if it keeps crashing. I might also try reinstalling V-Ray on your workstation, that has worked in the past when Ive been in a bind.
Oh one more thing came to mind is you can try a clean reboot and then start the spawner/3dsmax in administrative mode, shut it down and then try run it as normal.

Dont know where was the problem. I try it yesterday after two weeks or so and it works great!!
