after opening medit vray won't render?

Hi Vlado,

I’ve got a scene that I’ve only started today and I’m encountering some problems with it - if I open the material editor I get black shaderballs for nearly everything even though I have a vray license. If I open the scene and hit render I’ve no problems and the render dialog appears fine but again if I open the material editor the render button will do nothing when pressed. Seems like an odd one?

I’ve put the file up at www.joconnell.com/vlado - any thoughts on what it would be?

Works fine for me in 3ds Max 2008 and 2009, but you seem to be using an older version - which one?

Sorry, I’m on max 9 64 bit and vray 1.5 sp2. I’ve merged it into a new scene and moved on so no big worry, just if it was something you’ve encountered before.
