AgX setup

Am i setting this up correctly? I’m getting a widely different result with AgX than ACES.

This first image is ACES, second is AgX.

I set i with an env var just as you would with Aces. Is that wrong?

Are you sure the results you are getting are not expected? From what I’ve just read there is expected difference between the look of AGX and ACES.
What about the display device and view transform? You’ve set them to “Display P3”. What are the available options?

this is modified ocio config from Troy James Sobotka. this one has an additional lut to match AgX Punchy look closer to ACES sRGB ODT:
