What free AI music generators do you guys use to add music to your rendered animations?
There’s so many out there - which gives good quality and proper clip length?
Our animation are often around 5 min or more.
How great would it be if there’s an AI solution where you load your animation and it generates music as per your text prompt.
And it recognizes fast vs slow camera movements and cuts, so it matches the music to your uploaded clip…
I don’t know about AI generators. I prefer live instruments. My son is a jazz student at the university of arts. I send him animation clip, he plays improvisation to animation and adds some more instruments. When done he sends music along with invoice.

Personally I default to the already nicely established “audio marketplaces” such as epidemic sounds, artlist and the like.
I’m not using AI generated music mainly because of two reasons - I don’t want to put my clients in an uncomfortable positions copyrights wise and I also don’t like supporting AI services that got their training done on copyrighted content.
