Airport (Updated again)

WIP Airport holding lounge…still a long way to go..any comments…

pretty nice reza ^^

nice model … are you going to light it properly?

light.

yup…just about to do it..the previous lights were for modeling and material

render: good

architecture: could be improved, what i dont like is the light fixtures on the curved ceiling…theyre like pimples in a face right now.

work…

Let me explain…how i do my work is a little bit out of this world…i never meet any of my clients, in fact this 1 im doing is 1000miles away from me on another continent…all they give me is a sketch of the view they want and sometimes autocad files for my refrence…so i really cant change anything…if they like the image i sent them..its done…if there are changes..they will just mail me and ill change…usually people dont want to tell you much cause they fear you might run off with their design…hehehehehehe.

nice modelling
when the lights are finished it will look cool :)-I like the camera angle and the perspective very much

Updated image

I guess this would do…for now…

Nice work reza. Only thing which really sticks out is the repetetive seating, but that’s the design not your fault

Just out of curiosity, would those downlights be enough to light the airport at night? :stuck_out_tongue:

-Matt

wow! thats awesome!!
how long are the render/irad map times?

yup..i agree

i agree about the seating…looks quite a lot..but when we do a math on it…a boeing 747 can take 400 plus at any given time…thats 1 plane what if we have a few taking off…yup the lights arent enough…i guess i missed out on it. it took 2hours to render…they are all vray materials with reflection and gi’s. using a dual xeon 3.06 with 1mb cache and 2gb ram.

Nice rendering Reza. I quite like the image. The background blends in rather well too.

The only suggestion I can make is perhaps go to www.lowpolygon3d.com and buy some people sitting down. Sit in a couple of those seats of yours and that’ll look great.

reza, nice image. I agree with some of the previous comments, It’s coming along really well.

Question tho, how do you get clients on other continents? Are you advertising, or is it through business contacts/networking?

WIP

Just through my websites and CGArchitect…i have most of my images there…They see, they like and they mail me a few sketch and give me some time to do it…

your renders have been aswome. the day and night shot were great. dont mean to discourage you but something in the lighting of this one isnt as good though. i know lighting something with a black ground is always tough though

I agree Da_elf. It almost looks like a straight scanline render.
I’m not seeing any GI in the scene at. It’s almost like the render
was done by someone else.

Mind you, i have plenty of days when I’m rendering something that just doesn’t look right. Change a little setting and “voila”, it’s all fixed. Maybe
reza was trying something different with this one?

Nice Daiblo though. Wish I could afford one of those.

SunnyC

the airport looks cool  very nice lighting and boackground-looks great.
the second one though is not as successful as the first one IMO. something is lacking

Hehehehehehe

The night scene is still under progress…i usually use omni to light up my scene and render scanline instead of vray…it usually give me an idea of what possibilities i can have. i only use vray when im ready to render my finals…you guys have to understand 1 thing…vray is good but it does not make us better…so sometimes i need to strugle with just standard lights…im sure youve said this at least once in your lifetime…my work is ok/good but if only i had vray/brasil/final render, it could have been better…i learn from mistakes…my motto…

By the way, did i tell you guys im a bycicle mechanic…before i stumbled across 3D.
