Beautiful image, and colours. The plants and branch look fantastic, did you do the DOF in post - this is very nice.
Beautiful Image! (except the poly leaves though :-))
very nice work.
very nice,
Cecil
Very nice! My only crit is the plant in left foreground is almost ruining it for me. Lighting is nice and wood branch is good, too.
Is this RWF?
yes I also want to know is this RWF?
Very good image…and creepy ![]()
good idea and nice render ![]()
Nice image, but I agree it would be nice if the leaves had some detail & the grass was broken up a little more.
It’s exactly the same as Linear Workflow, but Bernhard sets the gamma set to 1.6.
I know what RWF is. What I wanted to know is if Bernard used it here…
thank you…
thank you very much for your nice comments…
to answer your questions.. yes, I used again the rwf… and I made more tests, and this was again a part of it… so I started with a simple scene and wanted to check if the post will work.
so, now I’ve tested my strange setup for
- int
- ext
- hdri
- post
I added the last test results to the rwf thread, you can read here:
http://www.chaosgroup.com/forums/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=40782&page=9
till later,
bernhard
Not really, 2.2 and i guess 1.8 gamma counts as linear workflow, setting it to 1.6 is the Bernard touch, and thus deserves to be called RWF.
Sorry but what is RWF ?
Reinhard workflow ?![]()
Rieder? ![]()
thank you
Hello and thank you for all your nice comments…
well, please don’t shoot me if you don’t like the specification, term or shortcut …
when I was asked about the settings I named it short and precise rwf instead of lwf, because one thing is for sure: It isn’t anymore linear…
and yep, it’s not alone the gamma, all the different settings combinded together are building now rwf - rieder work flow.
@pailhead:
thank you very much.. well, since I’ve started to test it took a while to find out if this workflow really works for Int, Ext, hdri, or even in post.
@hcpiter:
rwf = rieder work flow
@^Lele^ :
yep, that’s correct…
At this stage, I am happy with the results.. and I have used it sucessfully in production.
But let me underline again, it’s just one way of many .. so what ever works best for you guys.
Maybe my tests will help you as well…
so far so good,
happy rendering,
bernhard
Very nice work !
again a creative workflow from you ![]()
well actually I didnt understand clearly: r those images your workflow for the post step-by-step?
would u please show raw render and talk about the post work?
thanks
Sorry DVP - I completely misread what you asked.
and yep, it’s not alone the gamma, all the different settings combinded together are building now rwf - rieder work flow.
Sorry Bernhard, but aside from using a gamma of 1.6 - what are the different settings?
yea…i am obviously missing something here…
:roll:
To reinforce what bernard said, rwf is more than just changing the gamma it is a process, with very good results, as you can see from the images posted here and the test images i posted in bernard’s other tread. Post production work is greatly reduce.
