sorry the image isn’t a direct link. Working on that this weekend. Also, this hosting site seems to re-compress the images. Urgh!

Those images are great!..nice work

Hi and sorry, i must of missed this one…

really nice work Congrats

Looks nice, but for some reason it reminds me a bit of a cartoon, something I’d see in a Pixar movie, like the proportions are exageratted a bit, or maybe it’s just the lighting. Regardless, looks great.

you’re right…I think it the over saturated lighting and the specular blom (at least I think that’s what it’s call) when the light hits and object…

it looks good, though…
how did you make your wall texture? is it Photoshop painted, blend of mats??..I’m courious..

paul.

Damned cool work Ian. What are the little robot things in the night time version?

Hello there
Materials are simply made in photshop.
That J Engleman is a texture photographing legend.
Hi Gerg. Those rebots I was bored and put them in, but they are gone now.
I guess that last job on Cnet inspired the cartoony feel.
It is oversaturated in Digital Fusion glows. Just liked the way it looked.

Awesome work! Only comment would be on the steps. They are too smooth and rounded.

nice texturing… and about PIXAR look, i try to achieve this sometimes and mostly i come up with photorealistic finish… whats the approach for this kind of style??

I don’t know, I find that the exaggeration of light bloom and proportions are mainly what achieve that effect.

Hi Ian,

I really like your images. Fantastic attention to detail.
One of the few images that I would call “artistic”.

Well done.
