Animated lights not turning on in IPR under certain conditions

I have a scene where I have an animated light that turns on at a particular frame (frame 2 to be exact). The problem is that it doesn’t turn on if I start IPR at frame 0 and then very quickly go to frame 2 with the “>” hotkey. I’ve sent the scene to support along with reproduction steps. Let me know if you have trouble reproducing this and I will try recording a video.

Thanks! Will fix it.

Best regards,
Vlado

Would you please let me know the case-number since I can’t find anything into our system?
You should have an automatic reply from our system which contains the case number.

Thank you very much in advance.

Hm, strange. I didn’t receive a case number. I’ve just resent you the email. Ticket number is 123-974-5027.

Thanks, I got it now.
Would you please also check if the first email, which we didn’t receive was correctly sent from your mailbox?

Yes, it appears that way.

Thanks, I’ll ask our IT guys to investigate why this email didn’t reach our mailbox. You didn’t get any Mailer Daemon messages informing you that the email was not successfully delivered?
Regarding the issue, it’s logged as a bug with reference ID VMAX-8760 - we are looking into it right now and we’ll keep you posted for any updates.

The email for some reason entered Spam folder and was not logged as a new case.
I already marked it as Non-Spam so hopefully this won’t happen anymore. Please excuse us for the inconvenience!

No, I didn’t receive Mailer Daemon messages. Anyways, I’m happy that you figured out the issue.

This should be fixed for the next nightly build tomorrow and will go into the hotfix. Thanks a lot for reporting it!

Best regards,
Vlado

Hi,

It seems that this bug still persists in Vray Next Update 2.1 (4.20.01.00002).

Seems fine with the scene you provided last time. If you have something new please send it over.
