animated vray proxies results in network overload

I like to use animated vray proxies for different purposes, but they kill my network during while loading on more computeres at the same time.
when a few slaves start to render an animation sequence it takes forever to start the actual rendering.
does it always transfer the whole proxy with all frames?
is it possible to compress the file format or to just transfer the needed frame?
the only solution i found, was to copy all proxies locally to all slaves…and change the proxypath to C:/…

I’d like to know the answer to this too.

No. Only the needed data for a particular frame is transferred.

is it possible to compress the file format or to just transfer the needed frame? Both are already done.

the only solution i found, was to copy all proxies locally to all slaves…and change the proxypath to C:/…This will work, yes. Saving one proxy file per frame might also work, but could be more complicated to set up.
