I need to animate some opening doors for an animation. Is this possible yet or is there a workaround?
Hey @RYAN_FERNANDEZ ,
there is currently no animation support in Enscape. Please feel free to share any feedback about this in our public ideas portal: https://chaosenscape.ideas.aha.io/ideas/ENSCAPE-I-1373
Thank you!

Thank you so much for this suggestion. Although we can see the benefit of translating objects for presentation and sharing purpose, this kind of implementation would contradict with our principles of being real-time and easy to use. Instead, we rather want to focus our resources on topics that help you during the actual design of the project.
RE: Lumion is real-time and easy to use and they allow animated fbx imports. Its still real-time and still easy to use. Crazy, I know right..
Thanks for your contribution, Ryan. It’s sincerely appreciated.
You can use dynamic components. The only issue is that you have to manually click open the doors using the Interact tool inside Sketchup. Or use another program… like Twinmotion.
Thanks. I was animating a walkthrough and I needed the doors to open. So instead of just importing an animated fbx/obj like every other Realtime program I had to render 24 frames of the door opening like I was walt Disney in the 1940’s and stitch them all together in a video editor. The time spent could have paid my yearly subscription to twinmotion
