How come the image file attachemnt limit is like 100k? Isnt that a bit stingy?

Nice Tom. A lot different from your work on CGarchitect. I think the sky needs more work. The drop off to blue/gray in the corners looks a little flat to me. I think light would work its way into that area, and could actually illuminate the clouds quite brilliantly.

Thanks guys! I’ll pass the sky comments on to the retoucher. There’s three of us working on these kind of images (Myself, Stephean Reynolds and Kurt Lauer . Thats me in the suit, we shot on location in Illinois and Stephan gave us mountains and sky.

This loooks good and so sureal. I like it a lot. I’d scutter the ships a bit up and down so they are not so “orderly”. What is the story behind it? I can’t connect the man in suit and scythe in his hand

There’s not really a story. We’re going to pitch to a brewery to see if we can do their marketing. They seem to like this kind of fantasy stuff, so we did this for the pitch. The theme does revolve around some mythology. I was going to try and do the ships rolling in on some kind of flame/smoke thing, but I dont really know where to start.
I’ve posted a WIP from earlier in the project. I didnt know how to achieve the flames and smoke (they a PS here).
