I was wondering if anyone can help me out with a question i have. I was wondering about ANTIALIASING setups in vRay. I would like to know what the best method is for stills of visualisation for products. Im currently working on some images of wall assemblies for a building supply company showing off their wall system. If anyone could tell me what they suggest for good antialiasing would be greatly apprectiated or if anyone can explain the various settings.

I run simple two level at a rate of 1-4.
aparently if you have glossy reflections you get faster speed with two level because the anti aliasing points are fixed. Where as with adaptive it takes longer to check the object then accertain the extent of the anti aliasing. there is a good explaination on vray info site.
dont forget you anti aliasing filter too…i use mitchell. A good combination of edge sharpening.
The best alround AA is Adaptive Subdivs… set it to 0 - 3
this has been a cause for many inter-office arguments/disagreements.
I find adaptive way too slow. For DVD animations its not worth the extra rendertime as tv’s tend to obliterate any detail anyways.
well i do interior render’s and walkthrough’s and i find it perfect..
Pretty much always use adaptive for stills, though I will try simple 2-level when I next have a lot of glossies.
For animation, I always use fixed 3 to try and remove any hint of flicker.
