We have dipped our toes into RT over the years but have always had issues with it not supporting some of the key textures/plugins we use. However, assuming we could work around these issues, I’d be very interested in seeing a video demo of RT GPU being used in the high end interior field. We see lot…

When you say internal do you mean the nightlies? Yes, the 3.x nightly builds only.

What 3.x nightly build is this on?..O only see the 3.0 stable builds “vray_adv_30007_max2014_x64_24716” and I don’t see LC in GPU.

I don’t know if this can help, but those are renders that I did a bit more than a year ago : Quick tests : opening the scene, rendered, exported  [Evermotion Archinteriors Vol. 19-01 - RT GPU] [Evermotion Archinteriors Vol. 22-09 - RT GPU] Average of 45 min a frame o…

Is it implemented in maya nightlies 3.0 by any chance?

Yep, got the same issue here, I was looking for the LC in RT and couldn’t find it. It’s the sable version vray_adv_30007_max2014_x64_24736, I haven’t got the nightly though. That might be the issue, I will ask to have access to the nightly if possible. Thanks Stan

It hasn’t been ported to stable versions yet - please check for updates regularly.

Hi there, Thanks for your quick response, I’m in touch with Anna about this already. Cheers

this is amazing news . this is something i believe will really improve RTGPU’s path to production workflow we are all looking for in max.

Can you please update the thread when this has been ported stable versions. Thanks!
