Appearance of assets in shaded view in Revit

Hi,

I am trying to change the appearance of the shaded colours of the assets as shown in a shaded view in Revit. They are all grey by default and overrides don’t have an effect of the body colour. I understand that these assets are designed to be shown in an Enscape viewport but often times Revit users simply use the shaded view. Please advise on how I can change an asset body colour from grey to say green for trees.

Thanks in advance.

I have managed to solve this by going into the object styles override dialogue box and changing the planting material.

Great thing is that it doesn’t affect the appearance in the Enscape viewport only in the shaded viewport.

it seems as though its only partially solved the problem. By changing this material is overrides all the Encape assets. So if I change the material to show green shaded trees is also effects the other assets including people! So still need help with this…

Hi @rharli , all of our assets are currently put into Revit’s planting category, which is why every asset is being adjusted to the same set object styles color/material in Revit accordingly, like you’ve already noticed. We plan to adjust/change this in the future and there is also a dedicated feature request on our agenda to allow you to define a custom appearance of our assets in Revit altogether.

I’ve happily given the topic a further upvote through your voice and added your feedback. If there is anything else you’d like to add to the feature request or in general, please kindly do so.
