Apple Vision Pro

Are there any plans to support Apple Vision Pro? Great native support could totally change my day to day workflow and how I use Enscape.

@michaeloren no concrete plans yet. Apple does not even ship it yet, so everything we know about it comes from publications and it does not look like a device for heavy 3D applications. But of course we will keep an eye (and maybe hands) on it when more information will be available.

Many of us would say the Mac ecosystem in general does not look like it is well-suited to heavy 3D applications, yet Enscape has been devoting plenty of resources to Mac development.

Of course, we all need to see what the device is capable of when it ships. But in my mind, Apple Vision Pro support seems like a logical extension of the work Enscape has already been doing on Mac. If there is a path to the holy grail of designing architecture in VR, the AVP appears to have more potential than any of the clunky tools VR has offered so far.

I am looking forward to getting our Vision Pro tomorrow & would love to navigate Enscape on it. We use meta quest 2 and it’s barely OK. AVP will be much more capable, and it makes sense to me that pro software like Enscape would support a pro headset. I don’t imagine hardware capability will be an issue.

Did you try it? How it was?
