We have been using Enscape for months in Revit 2017.2 and it works flawlessly. We tried to open Revit 2018.2 on that machine to use Enscape on a file in 2018 format and as soon as Revit starts loading, we get an Enscape crash dialog box wanting us to send the log files and alert on what was happening right before the crash. We have download the latest version 2.2.0 and it behaves this way as well. Anyone have this issue and more importantly, how to get Enscape to work in Revit 2018.2???
I have been sending the logs when I get the error email box that pops up when the app crashes. Do I need to send them in another way in addition to that?
Our support engineer suggested you to update Enscape and graphic card driver to the latest versions in reply. Did you receive this message? Did you update the software and still have the problem with starting Enscape?
I will look for the email from your support engineer. We did purchase another license to use on another VR machine we built and it had zero problems starting and running in Revit 2018.2 so there definitely must be an issue with our installation of 2018.2 on the original machine.
I have installed the latest version of the Nvidia drivers for our GTX 1080 as well as installing Enscape 2.2.93. I have also uninstalled Revit 2018.2 and then installed Revit 2018 by itself. I still get the crash at startup of Revit.
Hi @ashleykirk , please be so very kind as to send us some feedback using the “Feedback” button found in our Enscape ribbon. Don’t forget to check “Include Logfiles into feedback” and also, add your forum name or some reference into the Feedback so that we know it’s from you.
