very nice image but why having a lamp turn on if (as it seems to be) the sun is already fully bright ( light from door)… ![]()
and does winnie isn’t a bit too dark compared to the heavy volume of light there’s in the room or coming from the door…
anyway, good modeling…
just my 2cents
hey spirit1,
i like your lamp.. nice atmosphere, nice lighting levels..
have a nice day.
davis
you sure got that leather down pat!
Great image, but as before, Id suggest not turning on lamps for the sake of turning them on. I think it tends to look wrong to the eye, especially with amount of light coming from other locations.

You know I finally have to comment on your work lately. It’s all truly incredible. You are definitely one of the people taking Vray (and CG imagery for that matter) to the next level. Your senses for lighting, modeling, texturing and detail all top notch. Many of us here would be happy just to be as good in one of those areas. Speaking of modeling, do you use straight Max for your modeling or something else? I’m personally an AutoCAD modeler and have never been able to get into modeling with Max, but the amount of stuff you have been able to produce lately and the detail of your modeling makes me think I really need to try harder to learn how to model in Max.
Congrates!
Adrian
you really have a feeling for ambient lightning…are you actually doing something else than 3d and vray ? so many pics in the last time…wow..
Thank’s all realy you make me very happy
And i use only 3ds max for modeling.
Metroberlin
im not working at the moment so i have a lot of time to work with max!
Exquisite 8)
Materials are excellent
Only thing that looks a little off is the Pooh model. It doesn’t feel as cartoony as they make those things.
Great work Keep it up spirit1 :!:
 sorry about the typo.

Beautiful. As far as the light being turned on, I often use a lamp during the day. I like to see what I’m doing, even in the daytime.
Tony
Spirit, you always making nice and lovely images!

@spirit… this is work
good worl..
I’d love to see the pooh bear modeled in Autocad ![]()
great work…as always…nice modeling too.
lighting is very good.
paul.
PS: get a job in the 3d/CG industry ![]()
very, very nice work. i wish i was this good!
i have one minor suggestion - ‘carve’ the doors up into pieces - they are not generally made from one piece. typically the sides are vertical and the top middle and bottom pieces are horizontal.

I’d love to see the pooh bear modeled in Autocad
Now Mike, don’t go temping me, I could build that pooh in ACAD (w/ meshes). Of course I’ll be gone for a couple days doing it.
Now that arm chair he’s sitting on would be virually impossible in ACAD.
BTW I do use Max for things like that, I actually meant I still use ACAD for architectural modeling. (I hope this doesn’t start a ACAD vs Max debate.
)
Hey Linda while we’re now the subject of modeling, I read in another post that you were self taught (and very well I might add). So if you don’t mind me asking, how did you learn? Any secrets you can share on where you learned your modeling and texture skills?
Thanks in advance

So…this is funny to remember my first site i found on the net was 3d cafe on moddeling and after 3dlinks and so on so i just did all the tutorials a could find on the net, but what i have understand now is a good scenery needs alot of DETAIL good lightning and texturing, textures is the second most imported after the moddeling how to get them toghether? well alot of traning and asking i have to say that if i look at som scenes i did before i became a member here and on another swedish forum my images wasn’t half as good as they are today, i have learnd the most by asking and offcourse my Love to max and vray.

Wow Linda  u kill me with your beautiful work! Very impressive!
As everyone mentions excellent attention to detail. My only suggestion is to invert the eyebrows of the Pooh. He looks like he’s up to something ![]()
Or maybe its just me since I may be comparing it to the one done by ThirdEye in cgtalk.
Again great work!

wow wow~
you get better and better with every image i see from you
