Assigned vray materials in appearance map - are unloaded on closing and opening revit project file. Is there some setting I have not found to make them stick. Tips?
Happens to both linked file materials and the main project materials.

A couple of things to clarify first, because this may be related to how the project is opened and shared:
- Are you reopening the model yourself, or is it being opened by colleagues as well?
- Is this a shared model?
- Does the issue happen when opening the file on the same machine, or across different machines?
If the model is shared or opened by different users, it’s very likely that the V-Ray settings are not loaded on reopen. After opening the model, please navigate to V-Ray / Settings / Paths & Sharing and manually load the V-Ray settings.
If you still encounter the issue, let us know your Revit version and V-Ray for Revit version.
Hi! I figured out why this happened. I guess it’s just the way that I intuitively want to work does not agree with how the program has function when using the live link. I just have to be careful to only set up my materials properly in Vray for Revit and not override them in Envision. At the same time I discovered, what you said, that I have to import user settings because I often switch between home pc and work pc. Thanks for your tips anyway 
Vray for Revit and live link to Envison is becoming my favourite way of working - just have to adapt to the most efficient workflow
