I have a wav audio layer above my sequence layer but on export I dont get any audio in my mp4.
Is audio export supported?
No, audio export is not supported. We don’t encode audio when exporting to video files for the moment.
We will need to look at this at some point and see if we can change that.
I’m curious what’s the use case? You simply want to quickly add audio (without doing any complicated cuts or anything)?
Hi Yolov, yes I need to supply playblasts to clients before any rendering and we usually have audio ready to go. It would be nice to be able to export with audio so not having to go into After Effects.
So just slapping it on top, no audio edits done in Player, correct?
Yeah correct. The audio has been edited first, so the animation and audio is in sync. When we create the playblast we know the audio fits perfectly. so slapping on the audio and exporting the mp4 is ready to go!
