I have a question, being able to view our models in virtual reality with the oculus rift is a great design tool and would be enhanced if we could load a model using augmented reality (loaded from floor plan) and then enter virtual reality when wanting to explore at true scale. Is this possible?
Maybe exporting to a FBX file would be sufficient.
@ArchuCAD So you want to explore your project at site with overlayed AR and then switch to VR HMD?
We don’t provide AR support at the moment and therefor it is not possible.
I don’t think that we change our focus to AR besides VR, but I’ve forwarded your request to our developers.
Hi Jonathan, is there talk about adding additional export options in enscape other than exe file?
Does Enscape yet have an AR solution?..I notice that the web standalone export option runs on my smart phone, perhaps with a clear background and using the phone camera it could be possible to make visiable the ‘white’ background…this might be one for the Dev team…
Hi @seanociara
Welcome to our forum!
Currently we don’t have an AR function, but I will forward your request.
Hi,
Does Enscape have any AR functionality yet? When I load my panoramas on my phone, there is a button for ‘AR’, but I can’t see what it is actually doing…
