Auto exposure not working correctly in video rendering!

I just rendered a video with 2.5, and something has changed with auto-exposure. In the previous version, the transition between exposure values was smooth, but now I am noticing a pronounced flicker and it seems exposure is stepping in increments instead of increasing or decreasing smoothly.

I can confirm this, I had the same issue.

I put the issue into our bug tracker, we will look into it.

Thanks Sean. This is pretty critical as I’m doing a bunch of video right now, and this prevents me from using 2.5
