Autosave hang

Hi all,

Does anyone else sometimes get an autosave hang after transferring a very large project to Vantage, what seems to happen is that obviously due to the file complexity livelink takes over 30 mins, autosave kicks in from 3dsmax when livelink is finished, gets to 100 % and hangs, yet another irksome Autodesk non feature.

Hi, thanks for posting. What happens if you turn off the 3ds Max’s autosave? Have you ever had such issues if you render in IPR?

I’ve turned off autosave, just too many problems causing Max to hang.

So even with Auto Save turned off it still keeps hanging?

No, if I turn autosave off then there are no problems, it’s not a big issue, autosave is now off permanently. I got burnt once, won’t let it happen again!
