Color bleeding again in Vray

It is dissapointing to find out in the middle of the road that you can not control the color bleding in Vray, even if it is supposedly an advanced system of Gi. Definitely, Brazil r/s has resolved the matter but we are stucked with Vray in unnecesary workarounds because this issue is not adressed yet.
This is the ONLY one reason that keeps many architectural 3d professional people like me off Vray for production, and only for certain uses off the normal hi-end stuf we deliver to clients. We really dont care if asking for this feature it is not physically accurate or if the physics laws says this or that, we just need to control the saturation of those bleedings to create a particular clean effect. That is all and we dont have that control yet. It sucks, because Vray it is nice. In the meantime, because we cant control how a dark wood bleeds and stains a pure white wall, we have to keep using Lightscape and others. Will Vray team understand that anytime soon and adress this question and step up with the level of control that we profesionals need?. I wish.

here is a good work around to colour bleeding - go to the vray properties of the object that is bleeding too much colour and turn down the generate GI value. It is a simple work around and it works well!

Um there are alot of us “profesionals” here that have managed just fine with the weay that jacksc02 described above.

Try giving that a shot for next time.

i do agree with fpb3d on the colour bleeding issue but i dont think you need to be so heavy handed about it, it just tends to get people’s back’s up. im sure they will be addressing this very soon as it is high in the wish list of what people want, but like Chris said, you can control it to a certain extent.
