Sorry if this has been covered already. I searched and searched, but no
luck. :evil:
I have viz 2007 installed on three comps. One comp is running vray licence and Manager. Other comps are running server/monitor. One comp
works fine and the other errors out. The error in the log says
" ERR Task error : comsrv"
I have the same version of backburner installed on all machines. Same
version of Vray and Viz as well.
This is driving me crazy !
Any way, any help would be great.
im not a viz person but the error is probably saying - error communicating with server.
Does your manager see the machines fine, and can you render in scanline?
From the manager machine I can see the viz folder fine. Also the output
folder and maps etc. I get the same error with scanline.
thats not what I ment… what I ment was can your manager (backburner) see server machines fine?
And if scanline doesnt work, then its something to do with your setup.

The Manager/monitor does see all machines.
Its working now.
